Peej 0 #1 January 20, 2005 I appologise if this is a repost. Came across this clip on a viral website earlier. It looks like pretty impressive flying to me and the dude on the radio sounds stoked. Do they normally get such distance across that Valley? http://www.boreme.com/...3/a/m_birdman/fr.htm Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
jerry81 10 #2 January 20, 2005 The link doesn't work, so I'm just guessing...is it 'The fastest motherfucker in the valley', by any chance?
Peej 0 #3 January 20, 2005 Nope, it's just labelled Birdman. Go to www.boreme.com, it's under the "Random 10" link on the left hand side of the page. Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
RhondaLea 4 #4 January 20, 2005 "Random 10" means just that. It might have been there for you, but by the time I looked it was gone. I think the jokers who run this site move stuff around a lot. There are two Birdman clips anyway: http://www.boreme.com/bm/NOV03/a/m_birdman/fr.htm http://www.boreme.com/bm/DEC03/a/m_birdman2/fr.htm If these links don't work, just click the searchbox, type in "Birdman", and both links will come up. rl
Peej 0 #5 January 20, 2005 Let's try this again... http://www.boreme.com/bm/NOV03/a/m_birdman/fr.htm Is anyone else having problems with it? It's working for me... Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky

TomAiello 26 #8 January 20, 2005 The first is Fastest Motherfucker in the Valley (Lukas Knutson). The second is from Soul Flyers (Loic). If you're into wingsuit video, check out the latest stuff on the Morpheus site. There's some video of Robert Pecnik flying the Phoenix Fly V-1 that is pretty amazing.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
TomAiello 26 #9 January 20, 2005 QuoteDo they normally get such distance across that Valley? At the time, this was a groundbreaking flight. Currently, those distances are fairly normal for high end wingsuit pilots (so, about 10 folks). Lukas was a very good pilot. If you search the forums (this one and incidents) for his name, you can find more information about both him and that particular flight. Blue skies, Lukas.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com

pBASEtobe 0 #11 January 20, 2005 Quote http://www.boreme.com/bm/DEC03/a/m_birdman2/fr.htm Is this for REAL!?! I'd have to say that is the coolest and most impressive WS flight I've ever seen! Granted it wasn't BASE but still...
TomAiello 26 #12 January 20, 2005 It's absolutely for real. Loic pretty much defines "badass" in the wingsuit arena.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
Peej 0 #13 January 21, 2005 For more of that order yourself the Soulflyers DVD from www.flyyourbody.com or your local gear store. Like Tom said, Loic's the man and one of the reasons i wanted to fly a WS in the first place. Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
