leroydb 0 #1 December 24, 2004 Thank you guys and gals for a great time. You know who you are! Was awesome to be able to use the Ptrack setup on a tall A. Didn't even track all that hard and was pretty far away. They saw me from the ground and with the cross wind they say me crabbing. wish there was video, but the memory will last forever! Especially the ice up top, the wind chill was in the negatives for sureLeroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio... douggie 0 #2 December 24, 2004 Yeah that was a great time. Thanks for letting me borrow the pants for a jump. I am really impressed with the drive those things get, you really just take off!! Oh and remember, the key to covering more ground is pullin' low!

Zennie 0 #4 December 27, 2004 Nice meeting ya leroy! Sorry I wasn't up to see you leave, but I was just a wee bit drunk. As always, mi casa es su casa. If you're in town tonight and the winds cooperate we might be able to huck the B. That's my main workday object. - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon

Zennie 0 #6 December 27, 2004 Should be still good... we have permission from the workers now. Though it could also be that they didn't understand a word of what Brit & Doug were asking and just sort of nodded. - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon
blair700 0 #7 December 27, 2004 Hey y'all, Regarding the Ice on the towers, I was taught NOT to jump iced towers...have you ever seen the roof tops of the buildings underneath frequently iced towers?? Just food for thought as vibrations from vators and climbers can cause ice to fall. Glad you all had fun!!! Later Blair edited out personal attack on LeRoy meant in good fun

Quote Though it could also be that they didn't understand a word of what Brit & Doug were asking and just sort of nodded. Thanx to the worldwide famous texan accent... I sometimes have that pb with Brits ( but I'm not a good example ). Fabien BASE#

I was up there as well. The ice was not thick and was not uniform. This is still Houston after all. Just very small 1-2" patches here and there. Plus, if they had tried to climb an ice covered railing I would have bonked them all on the head and tossed them back into the elevator. - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon
