councilman24 37 #1 December 21, 2004 Thanks to Tom Aiello for volunteering to speak at the PIA International Parachute Symposium in Jacksonville in January. While PIA has some members involved in BASE equipment, and more are welcome, we didn't have any BASE speakers volunteer. In communicating with Tom I found out that I may be more behind on the current status of BASE than I thought. (Preferring NO direct contact with the earth when I exit.) So, Tom is going to give us all a status report on BASE jumping today. Thanks Tom. A new schedule with Tom and some other new speakers will be posted today or tomorrow.I'm old for my age.
