I do have to say that even though I am the crazy stupid new guy that "thinks" he knows it all like the other new dumbasses.. (thats me) Its guys like BASE864 and the other KC guys (DONK) that have kept me ALIVE.
I read all the other posts on DZ.com everyday. and even though I dont reply I see myself saying some of the DUMB shit the other new guys or Wanna be's saying.
Although I say and think many of those things I am fortunate enough to have the BEST group of guys to learn from. and learn what NOT TO DO. and watch out for me.

In my one year of jumping I have met, talked to and learned from many people in many places. but it all comes back to having a SOLID CORE group of jumpers that I jump with teaching and mentoring me all the time.

ITs great that I completed my BASE number before 1000, and that was my goal. it was my QUEST FOR BASE. I also have had a quest to learn as much as possible.
So you other NEW guys go out ask questions. Seek information. know what you can. and most important be safe.

IF you ask you budy to hold your PC and he thinks twice so should you....

so dont think about doing a PCA'd GAINER from 220ft.

I was kinda replying to the few comments about trying to just get a base number as quick as possible and not being safe. that tone is echoed all over this board. and it is true. going for the number without learning or jsut wanting to jump cause its cool can have grave concequinces.

I am a determined person and am glad that I have had great mentors, and want to be a great base jumper. Thats all.
