Surely the fog is not that thick?

Recommended Posts

So there I am 5.3 in the morning to do my local freestanding A - 285ft. Its foggy, but not that bad that I cannot jump safely. I am walking along the path to the A thinking to myself, wow this fog is really bad. Maybe it is too bad to jump if I cannot even see the red lights. Then suddenly I arrive at the base of the tower...

Its lying in a soggy heap on its side. There are a few demolition machines aggresively sitting around it. Someone has pulled it down :(.

It had been there since the 2nd world war and now they decide I can't jump it anymore. :(

OMG LMAO. I think I just pee'd my pants. That's so horriable, but such a funny story you wrote.

Oh man, the one you showed me a while back? Nice object. That's a real shame, I was looking forward to coming back and jumping it again.

Not BASE related but it reminded me of the time I was teaching scuba classes. I told all my students to meet me at the pool one night. When we got there the pool was gone. They had ripped it out over the weekend. Nothing but a big hole in the ground. I felt pretty stupid!:)
