chachi 0 #1 August 13, 2004 What do you guys think about people that lie about the gear they are selling. Here's the thing. I buy this Flik from a girl in eastern US that said she bought this canopy and rig brand new but never started to BASE. ex bf was an ex PRes or something like that. She sends it hear and you can tell it has jumps for sure, a little blood stain on the corner and then I discover a fucking patch on a cell. So i send her and email asking why she misrepresented herself, I would have bought the canopy, might have paid a little less. SHe sends email back saying Basic Research told her it was new. I call BR they say no, definately new it was used, actually was a vented Fox, then she had 5th brake line and valve covers put in. Treejumps 0 #4 August 13, 2004 She posts under Rudderrow on here. Currently lives outside of Philly. Have you asked to return the gear and get a refund? She is not a base jumper, and has barely skydived, so she would not know anything about gear. You might want to think about buying gear from people who do not actually jump. Cya. chachi 0 #5 August 13, 2004 Well, I had not planned yet to name names, but, someone that had a BASE bf, and bought gear from Basic Research, and had vent covers and fifth brake lines put on would know if they were buying used or new.
