rock climbing

I'm learning how to rock climb, for the purpose of base jumping. I live in the niagara region. Is there anyone in this area that's interested in this kind of rush.***Free bird Forever

Yes darlin, I live in Boulder Colorado, have been climbing HARD for 22 years and started BASE jumping in 97'. Climbing and BASE are two great tastes that taste great together. I hate to say it, but rock gyms are a great place to meet other climbers in yer area and stay strong in the crappy months. (The gym in yer area is the Niagra Climbing Center-(716)695-1248 or www.niagraclimbingcenter.com). Many great climb and jump possibilities are available in the Moab area and elswhere. And I haven't been to Europe, but I think general climbing skills are learned and used by way more Euros than Americans. Being able to appreciate the rock as a whole, the ascent as well as the descent is a very worthy goal indeed. All I hear about is, I wanna wingsuit, I wanna wingsuit. You have a unique angle. As a climber 1st, BASE jumper 2nd kinda guy, yer post got me jazzed. E-Mail me in private and I'll tell you some secrets that will motivate you even more. Best of luck!!!! Hank Caylor....

The reason I got back into BASE after an 18 year layoff was that I had started to climb in Yo. After a couple of ascents of the big stone I just had to get my E.

Well said about two tastes that taste great together.

Want the CO jewel too someday but went and got soft.
