Rambo 0 #1 June 4, 2004 on dual pin rigs what is the consensus on pin orientation and the logic behind it? pointing up or pointing down...Party On!
peterk 0 #2 June 4, 2004 I think it might be specific to containers and bridles, but with my Warlock, it's frowny.. o^ (Nice graphic, eh?)--------------- Peter BASE - The Ultimate Victimless Crime
KevinMcGuire 0 #3 June 5, 2004 It makes no difference. The curved pin is designed to and will pull facing any direction. the only exception is if the pin is some how locked in place by a flap or some thing but that would be hard to accomplish
Rauk 0 #4 June 7, 2004 I was shown by a good friend of mine a good point (not that it makes a huge difference as Kevin said). the pins will pull regardless of the orientation, but if you look at it, having them looking as much like a 6 as possible will make it so the bridle will immediately start to pull the pins, rather than having to turn the from a "smile" to a "frown". Don't know how much sense it makes, but I am sure I could get you a picture if you wanted. Hope it helps.
