The previews showed Bud's crash into the Tombstone talus where he broke his femur. This might be our second helping of BASE carnage on TV in the last 2 weeks. freeflygoddess 0 #2 May 1, 2004 I too saw the ads for Oprah, and I never ever watch Oprah, but since BASE was being shown I chose to watch it, and boy was I disappointed.... "His chute wouldn't open and he was seconds from death then suddally it finally opened" Um yeah... he didn't pull because to me it looked like he was very unstable and when he fianlly got stable he pulled...I think I saw a better show on that same jump on National Geographic. That's exactly what I thought is that I watched the entire show thinking that the BASE "segment" (2 seconds of "oh dude's chute didn't come out and he had only 4 secs...") would get the same time as the snake and climbers' story.
