dhracer33 0 #1 April 17, 2004 Just curious if anyone out there has been using two static lines for sub 200ft SL jumps. I was thinking that maybe using one shorter then the other would ensure no sort of premature breakage could occur. I know there are those of you out there that do this sort of thing often so I thought I'd ask your opinion before working my way down from 200ft. Skinflicka 0 #3 April 17, 2004 Yep. I use exactly that. Zip ties actually but one looped smaller than the other. Works well for the head more than anything. Nice to get rid of the gear fear. $kin. Prizes to anyone who gets to read my posts before Mr Aiello's son, Tom deletes them.
Faber 0 #4 April 17, 2004 i guess you mean 2 peices of breakcord at the same SL setup,if so then yes i do... One peice a few cm longer than the primary one,in that case if i have a premature break of the main breakcord,i hopefule get catched up by the second,if not, then my 46´zp pc should do the job(or at least prevent me from dying,if were talking sub150ft).... Stay safe Stefan Faber
