bps 0 #4 February 29, 2004 Sweet Faber! Go for it dude!!! It's tough to climb an antenna 4 times in a day -- even if it's just to 400ft. In my opinion, climbing to 400ft four times is harder than climbing a tall tower once to 1,600ft. The only time I ever did a "double" off an antenna (one in which you have to climb) was a climb to 717ft for a slider-up jump, and then a climb to 500ft for a slider-down jump. I was more tired after those 2 jumps then when I had climbed 1,700ft in one shot... At any rate, hope you get #4 in today. Keep us updated! Faber 0 #5 February 29, 2004 Hi Bryan i DID get jump #4 of that day(300ft A),however i mannegede to huck a small tree under my night swoop in my Fox lucky me i had ground crew at the site and only my pride(so far as i need a closer inspection of the gear)had to pay a price, well and then the beers i had to buy for it i now had a great night of sleep, and a gf that is mad at me as she didnt see me all day,and when i went home,i felt to sleep actualy the weather is great to day aswell, but i feel sore in my body after yesterday,i guess ill just inspect my gear pack it(hopefuly) and then take care of the girl that borrowed me her car for 12 hours, which i then felt a sleep from last night.. I dont care,i think i found one of the greatest gf i could find, only problem is.. that i now have to be carefull that no one wants to take her away from me... Special thanks to P.C. who phone crewed me on the 2 solos on my trip,to H.C. and J.M. i hope you got some great shots,i want a copy and to "junior and his bigger brother, thanks for helping me out of that tree i still dont get how any can climb as high as 1000ft on most of their jumps...But hey.. i might learn it one day Stay safe Stefan Faber
bps 0 #6 February 29, 2004 Quotei DID get jump #4 of that day Sweet! Sounds like a tiring but rewarding day. Quotei still dont get how any can climb as high as 1000ft on most of their jumps Heck, if I can do it, anyone can. (I'm as soft as they come) And besides, once you get a taste of a 7 second delay slider-up, you'll understand the need to climb to a 1,000ft. Congrats!
