narcimund 0 #1 February 14, 2004 As of this morning, Raist has more base jumps than skydives. Maybe in the midst of everyone bickering over nailing someone's competency by counting this number of skydives or that number of base jumps, we can just smile and realize: Base jumping is about personal, emotional rewards and numbers don't measure those. But sometimes the numbers are fun to play with and smile about, like a 50th birthday or watching the car's odometer roll past 100,000 miles. Congrats to Raist for a meaningless but entertaining milestone! You've worked hard to get here and I've loved watching and helping (and sometimes joining in) along the way. What next? Dd0g 0 #2 February 14, 2004 I think he might be ready to start jumping low stuff now. Peace, D-d0g+~+~+~+~ But this, surely, was the glory that no spirits, canine or human, had ever clearly seen, the light that never was on land or sea, and yet is glimpsed by the quickened mind everywhere. K763 0 #4 February 17, 2004 Congratulations, Raist! That is quite a milestone, at least IMHO. Of course, when you have only 10 skydives that ain't sayin' much... love ya, K
