Cave closed?

I heard yesterday that the cave was now closed for jumpers. Sounds untrue. Anyone else hear about it?
Planning a trip in March, it'd suck if it cancelled.

actually has any1 ever died there jumping ?
besides the guy who fell off the rope (or some kinda similar action) a month or so back ?

maybe they had a 1 strike and ya's are out kinda rule

Who did you hear this from? That rumor has been circulating for years. I've got no idea as to the truth of it this time around.

As far as I know the only other fatality there was a caver many years ago. There's a little memorial shrine set up at the bottom.

I was at Skyventure, and one of the employees (left unnamed), had recently taken Jimmy and Marta's course. He said he got an email (inferred from them) that the cave was closed. I figured it was a rumor, but thought I'd pass it around. I'm looking forward to going in March.

ive seen several base jumping footage of this cave
but only ever seen landings at the bottom and never seen a good look around
so what is at the bottom besides ground and bird shit
does the cave actually go anywhere ? or does it just stop dead ?
surely the water has to go somewhere when it rains
