I'm working with Tequila Shot Films this week in order to arrange the stock purchase of both DVD's and VHS copies. I would guess that sometime next week, I will begin taking orders.

I believe the VHS version will still be the standard $45, but the DVD option will be $60.

I'll post something here on dz.com about it, unless it gets removed by the anti-commercialization police.

I'll leave that up. There are a lot of people looking for the info.

Thanks!

Thanks Tom.

I think that the small community of BASErs would appreciate knowing when the next cool BASE video, trip, event, or product is available......even if it borders on commercialization.

While Sangiro will make the final decisions on those things, in general (based loosely on his directives, and partly on observing what is desired in the forum), I will leave in announcements (even bordering on advertisement--but not pure advertising) about expeditions and events, and the videos produced about events (like the BD video).

Likewise, I'll leave in product announcements which include good factual information, but pull out "buy my rig--it's cool" type postings.

While I haven't really considered videos too much, in general I think I'd leave in things that are produced by jumpers, and more intended to share the sport than make money (I'm sure you'll agree with me that pretty much all BASE videos are barely break-even for the producer).

As with everything else, this will evolve over time, and, as with everything else on this site, final decisions are made by Sangiro.
