obi 0 #1 August 15, 2003 Just got back from LB, there was a second fatality + a cliffstrike with broken bones this week. Since I only have second hand info on the fatality I won't post the name yet. Anyway, I hate to see this happen, whoever it is. Please brothers and sisters, be careful! Obi

Dd0g 0 #9 August 15, 2003 Sad news indeed - the early summer was promising to be a less painful year than last. It pains me to hear that we are going in the wrong direction since then. Be safe out there, folks - we are all brothers and sisters in our souls. Peace, D-d0g+~+~+~+~ But this, surely, was the glory that no spirits, canine or human, had ever clearly seen, the light that never was on land or sea, and yet is glimpsed by the quickened mind everywhere. lazyfrog 0 #11 August 16, 2003 apparently, the 2nd fatality was in Grindelwald... A lady basejumper seems not to have deployed off a 350 meter cliff... don't have anymore information---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT
QuickDraw 0 #13 August 16, 2003 Rough translation. QuoteGabi flew away Blaise the 2003-08-14 13:57:47 Those which were accustomed to seeing the small red bus with the tennis of Lauterbrunnen and to stop there to drink a coffee before the first jump will not see it any more. Gabi definitively flew away at the time of a jump of wings (with verifier) for a better world where it will be able to finally jump of its own wings... Gabi, we wish you good flight... lazyfrog 0 #16 September 15, 2003 got more info this week end by friends of her. She was doing a wingsuit base jump at a place going like vertical-horizontal-vertical again, got some turbulence at the 1st part and was lower as usual before passing the flat part, tried to pull but didn't deploy quick enough. It was really hard to speak about that. She had 400+ base jumps during this year. blues edit: removed site name ~Tom Aiello---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT
