Jimbo 0 #1 April 6, 2003 A post by CT got me wondering. Do you jump alone? If you're out in the middle of nowhere jumping whatever object happens to be there, are you alone? Does anyone know where you are? Are there arrangements, "If I don't check in by XX:XX then call the ambulance"? When jumping at the DZ there's always plenty of people around to assist if you've managed to hurt yourself. How do you deal with this in BASE? Just curious. - Jim"Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
Faber 0 #2 April 6, 2003 Most of my jumps are solos, how ever i have arenged a kind of recue-plan(it didnt work, but it were my fault). I normaly use my gf´´s car,i call her before the climb and again when im in the car.I NORMALY has my cellphone at me while jumping,i forgot last time, thatas why i did spend 2hours before the first people got me and 2,5 hour before the ambulance were on the place. I´´ve found out lot, after my accident. My next jump will probaly be the most scaryest solo ive ever done(i m a newbie whith 30jumps).But im now REALLY ready for an accident. All the stuff i needed out at the feild 6 month ago,ill never jump whith out it again. Just me,i know many hate this oppinion, but i have calculated it and i think its an fair deal which risk i will take. Stay safe Stefan Faber
