CloudOnMyTongue 0 #1 December 23, 2003 okay so I just recently got a rig, and the girl who sold it to me gave me this. Is it a closing loop? because it's colourful and I thought closing loops were just white?

skycat 0 #5 December 23, 2003 Quotewell thanks for your help, I didn't know that they make them in colours. Yep I've had black ones and red ones in the past. I think the black ones were the best, especially the look on someones face when they gave me a pin check. Fly it like you stole it!

jeremyneas 0 #7 December 24, 2003 Yes, main closing loop, RWS was putting those particular ones in 'boogie bags' a few years back. They may still be doing so, but i believe it was part of the V3 promotional campaign. Another 'different' type of closing loop to look for is from Jump Shack. They make a real fatty lookin one that does not require a washer. I personally use this type of closing loop. Many riggers have questioned it, but after well over 800 jumps on this particular closing loop alone, it still shows no wear. I hope when it finally breaks, they will make me a new one!
