ouragan suits?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I recently purchased an Ouragan suit from nancy and chris trembly and I have to say, it is prob one of the greatest suits I have ever seen and flew. They custom fit and designed everything to me and it made me feel honestly like this was MY freefly suit!

I wanted to start a poll to see if anyone out there is also flying an Ouragan suit as this company is still growing and what they feel about it? Maybe also give some thanks to them for a great suit by getting some of you to go look at their website!!!

I've seen Ouragan (I think that means "hurricane") suits around DeLand. They have a ton of attention to detail, look fantastic and the quality seems very high.

Airborne03,.. do you have any pics of your suit? I'd love to see it. :)

I just ordered from Nancy at Ouragan, too. I gotta say, she is probably one of the coolest people i've ever met! So enthusiastic:) And, all of the suits i've seen of hers around have been major nice. She seems like she pays a lot of attention to detail, and encourages the customer to create their own design. I saw someone's suit with a tribal on it, and it was pretty cool.

I can't wait to get my suit, i'm SO excited! I ordered a 2-piece and and told her that I really wanted the pants to be low-rise, and she was willing to work with anything I had in mind! What an awesome chick! I'll post pix as soon as I get the suit:)

Angela.

Nancy and her suits rock! I've flown a few of her tunnel suits and they are great for the tunnel. They provide tons of lift without being super baggy. You actually fly yourself and not the suit which makes it much more similar to flying in the air. I've also used the same suits in the air which is great fun - flying sit and head down comfortably with belly flyers and tandems.

Nancy is also a great person and will take the time to make sure that you get exactly what you want out of the suit. She'll make sure that the suit is personalized to you. You rock Nancy! :)

I ordered a suit from Ouragan last June and expected it in September. Unfortunately it didn't end up arriving until November sometime because they were backed up. As much as I loved the design, it was skin tight, to the point where I couldn't maneuver at all. I didn't even try to jump it, but emailed and called them to tell them the problem. They bent over backwards to accomodate and told me to send it back. I sent it back and emailed them pictures on where it was too tight (basically all over) and they fixed it within a couple weeks and sent it back. Unfortunately it was still too tight (maybe a little less tight than the first time), so I contacted them again. They were apologetic all over the place and told me to send it back and they'd make a new one. So I provided them with some additional measurements and they got it turned around again in about 2 weeks. This time it was PERFECT! As frustrated as I was with the original 2 fits, this one was great, and completely worth the wait!! They had incredible customer service, the construction of the suit itself is outstanding quality, and the design is just what I was looking for. I definitely don't see myself as being one of those freeflyers whose suits blows out on the side seam in a couple months.

As long as I had to wait, I would do it all over again (maybe I'd order it a little ahead of time, just in case). They recently followed up to get an additional measurement for me that they are going to use for future orders from now on, as a lesson learned from my problems with the original fit of the suit. I would recommend to anyone to go with Ouragan. It's worth the wait, the price, and even the hassle of sending it back to get it PERFECT! (and no, they didn't pay me to write this).
